Seriously, though here’s how I’m using AI in my therapy practice this month The other day, I asked ChatGPT to go back through my most recent chats and summarize how I’ve been using AI in my business. Because I knew I’d been using it a lot and I wanted to get meta for a second (because well, I’m a therapist) Here’s what came up: A real example? I was brainstorming ideas for an IG reel and I literally told ChatGPT: It delivered. Because the real magic of AI isn’t generic, it’s specific. Especially when you know what you want to say, but you don’t want to spend all day trying to find the words. Here’s what I’ve been doing lately: Instagram Captions + Reels He half-woke up and said, “Who are you talking to?” Website Copy Newsletters + Emails SEO + Strategy Course Marketing + Landing Pages AI helps me say the thing I meant to say. More clearly. More confidently. And with way less late-night screen staring. ✨ PS: I’d love to hear from you. And if you have a colleague who’s AI-curious but overwhelmed by all the noise, forward this to them. We need more smart, grounded voices in this space. Savily yours, Lori Husband, Ph.D.Psychologist & AI enthusiast

I think of a woman who’s crushing it in her career and respected by everyone in the room. She wants kids too,...
For years, I’ve helped women challenge scarcity beliefs in dating. You know the ones: “There are no good men left.” “All the best ones are married.” “Maybe I’ve waited too long…” As a therapist and coach, I guided clients to rewrite these beliefs, to shift from fear and scarcity to more hope and abundance. I believed that these unhelpful beliefs might get in the way of finding love. And, of course, it’s possible they do. But lately I’ve been rethinking this. I’ve been wondering if I got part...
Hi friends, I recently joined the Between Sessions with Berries podcast for a candid conversation about something I know a lot of us are wondering about: Can AI make us better therapists or is it here to replace us? We get into the emotional, ethical, and practical questions surrounding AI in our field. We talked not just about using AI tools, but about the human and existential side of this shift. How it feels, what it means for our identity as therapists, and how to move forward with both...
